The 5th Field Company of the Royal Engineers were part of 2nd Division which had been on the Western Front since the start of the war in 1914. Lionel Neville was wounded when shot by a sniper on 30th November, 1914 and died in the Casino Hospital in Boulogne. Unusually his body was brought home for burial. |
